This stencilled card was designed completely by the pupil She had a wonderful play with my trimmer and cut her own borders.
This one designed by the pupil using an idea from one of my earlier cards. The image and backing papers from JS Victorian Flowers.

Way back in October (page 59) I did a parchment frame for an image from Dreams of Tranquility by Ooh La La - Elemental Ballet-Earth by Jonathon Earl Bowser. This is Elemental Ballet - Fire from the same CD and by the same artist. The pattern and the butterfly are both from patterns by Pauline Loweth.

This is how far I have got in Lesson 2 of 4 lessons to achieve an A4 picture of a Japanese lady. She will be holding 2 fans - which are made but applied later. There are more flowers to go on her Kimono and then there is a complicated border to be done which will take the next two lessons. This project is proving to be totally absorbing and the time seems to fly by unnoticed.

This is the one I did a while ago
this second one I did yesterday at the Workshop. For this second one I used white pearl ink for outlining the large flowers, a smaller punch for the little flowers and diamante 'gems' for the centres.

I really enjoyed doing this one. Monochromatic tracing and painting. Found the pattern in an old book I had forgotten that I bought many years ago.

Another from Femme Fatale by Ooh La La. I used an insert as an outsert and added burgundy and black chiffon ribbons and flower. Topper printed on glossy photo paper.
From the Burlesque folder.
I sold this one as a Father's Day card.
