A commission card for a train lover. A bit busy so not sure. It is now heading for the bin.
I was right not to be sure so have replaced it with this one.
The customer likes this one.

One of A & B's Christmas Bauble peel offs. Bauble put on to parchment and embossed and then watercoloured with Sakura Stardust pens. Was amazed to find some matching paper after I had finished the bauble.

Another of A & B's Xmas peel offs used on parchment with Sakura Stardust pens. I put a small white brad in the centre with a touch of glitter glue on the top.

This is what I have done so far at the October workshop. The streaky black behind the parchment is my embossing mat.
This is what I hope it will look like when I have finished. I have done the 'cut outs' but they are in a safe place so I don't lose them. Just got to tackle the flowers next.

This is the parchment project now finished. I have done some minor alterations as quite honestly the pattern didn't make sense in some areas. I have it on good authority that this does happen sometimes. Anyway there is no way you can make the flowers in the way that the pattern says and if you look at the book under magnification they haven't been made the same way as the instructions - so I did it my way. I used ribbon to join it all together and I only did three simple flowers. I really enjoyed this one as I can honestly say there is only one pricking hole in the wrong place.

Finally done the finished version of the practice one I did. This is the lovely pattern that Yvonne let me use. I have mounted it on a cream card and will decide how to finish it later.

First go at this one. I am not happy about the leaves as I changed direction on some and then mucked about with them but once started ..........

This is one of CC's patterns - comes with one of her DVD's. I have adapted it slightly by making it smaller and excluding the Happy Birthday. I embossed it the way I felt rather than look at the instructions. I have added two parchment flowers from another pattern altogether and added a pearl centre. I like this pattern as it is simple and adaptable and I would like to use it again.

Now it is finished I can see the mistakes in the grid work. I couldn't use the gridwork on the pattern as I haven't got the right one so I just used my regular grid. I used Sakura pens for the pollen.

A birthday card for one of my crafters who loves fairies. I have used a photo I took at Wisley and managed to find a fairy to sit on top of the fence post. I haven't decided yet where to put 'Happy Birthday'.
