Third card using a photo taken at Wisley and a decoupage fairy.  Have left room for a sentiment - to be decided later.

Had another go at the parchment heart - this time using most of the pattern proper in the centre.  In the empty squares should be some more free hand pricking and crosses but I prefer the simpler look.

Inspired by our parchment lesson last night on Lacework I made this gift tag for birthday gift today for a friend.  I adapted the pattern and the flowers come from another project.  I like the flowers so much I had  made up a box of them to use on just such an occasion.

This is a project I had in mind after I  had my lacework in parchment lesson.  I have used Ooh La La's beautiful CD ' Dreams of Tranquility'  for the image and printed on Gloss Photo paper.  I then found a lacework border and altered it  so it could be a picture or a card.  I used some of A & B's beautiful Holographic card in bronze which is one of my favourite colours to use.  The parchment butterfly comes from a Pauline Loweth pattern in the original parchment kit I bought here in the shop.  I pinched the antennae from a a butterfly embellishment I had around. Next time I do it I need to make the parchment frame a little thinner as it won't quite fit in a 5 x 7 frame.

Pupils cards made this morning.

A direct copy of one of mine as she liked it so much. Her Great Grandson will also be 1 next month.  It is a JS stamp of the little boy and although it is showing the back view apparently the stance etc is just Freddie to a 'T'.

I knew the 'Dreams of Tranquility' would be used.  For her daughters birthday next month - the Grandmother of the Great Grandson.

This is by the lady who loves anything do do with fairies.  I had printed out several photos from Wisley and she chose this one.  We obviously have similar tastes as it is the one I used the other day.

Thought I would do another one before I file the pattern.  This  one is done using Rainbow parchment.  The ribbon is lilac - it looks a bit blue here.

This has been scanned and it does look better in real life.  I found this sweet little pattern in a new book.  The pattern said to use pastel Tinta inks to outline the flowers but I only have black and white so I used my metallic Sakura pens and although darker than the inks I think it has worked very well.  There is a little sparkle to the inks and it sets off the little pearls.  I used a backing paper from Carol Ann's studio cd which is the same colours and covered in white polka dots.  Hope you like it - I love it.

My slight adaptation of a pattern in a parchment magazine.  Unfortunately the gold doesn't show up very well.  The frame and the mistletoe stalk are both in gold.
