This is one of the Waterfall Cards from Ooh La La. The images and the mechanism came from the CD but the backing paper from Oriental Beauties.
I put the Japanese script on the pull mechanism and the word Happiness at the top of the card.

My pupils cards from today.
The first one is for a SIL who is celebrating his 60th at his apartment at a Golfing Complex in France.
The second one is a copy of one of mine with a different backing paper.  This lady has started on a second card as well but will finish it next time.
The third is for a friend who is a pilot.  The insert is a paler version of the front of the card.  A model gliding kit is going to be given with this card so a great deal of care was taken to show the advert for gliding on the background.

This is my first attempt at a pattern Yvonnne kindly let me have.  I have made several mistakes - like putting holes where they shouldn't be and playing about with the pattern but it has kept me out of mischief.  I also made a hole in it and I don't think a butterfly looks appropriate on a baby's matinee jacket.
I will try it again though as I love the pattern.

This was our parchment lesson last week - Silhouettes. I have discovered that the camera truly doesn't lie and can see through paper.  In real life the black looks thick and shiny ( it was done by a Sakura Glaze pen) but in the photo you can see where I have embossed from behind and went over the lines.  I didn't think it mattered as you wouldn't be able to see it from the front.  But I know there are certain people(no names  etc)  who will magnify to 400% and it will show. Actually I think it shows without any magnification.   Apart from the oval being a mite wonky I am quite pleased.  This was my first time doing crosses with scissors and I am still bleeding!!

These are the pieces from the workshop yesterday.  The two small pieces were just practice pieces.  I say practice but they took ages.  The Advent piece included  painting with Sakura Stardust pens, pricking on a fine grid and then doing the same as on one of my pratice pieces.  I will have to finish it at home.  It was all very intense but very rewarding.  Alison is a lovely person and a good teacher.

The glitter looks a bit orange on here but it is pink to match the paper.

I love this stamp.  People  are going to get so bored with me using it.  But only one card will go to each person so they won't know about all the others.

Another tree or rather another of the same tree.  I have added a couple of lovely pearly snowflake embellishments I found to the backing paper.  It's a bit like one of Jenny's Illusions - you have to look hard.

The imge for this one is from Ooh La La Floral Extravaganza.  I found the wonderful piece of backing paper in a pad I have had for at least 2 years.  Last piece and it is perfect.  I like this card.  Bold and Christmassy.
