A5 Irs folding card from here.  I really felt inspired this time when I found I had toning papers to go with my favourite Japanese lady - 4 layers of decoupage.  The centre is a small piece of handmade paper.  I have used the Iris Folding papers for the butterflies as well.

Made the basics of this card a few days ago but couldn't think how to finish it.  Nothing I had seemed to 'go'.  In the end I used my new punch for some flowers and silver peel off borders.  I am not sure even now.

A fan this time rather than an oval.  Decoupaged Japanese lady from the same series and hopefully the Iris folding picked out the colours in her Kimono.

Finished off these two Oriental decoupages.  Just love cutting out these ladies.  Most have at least 5 layers - some more.  I try to keep the silicone very thin.

These two ladies are from Polly Pinders Traditional Japanese design book.
I reduced the image down to about 50 - 60% and then printed out onto watercolour paper.  Painted with some pearlescent watercolour metallic paints.   I haven't decided how to use them yet but probably  with some Iris folding.

Second of the 'painted ladies.  This time made into a DL card with three layers of matting.

Another Iris Folding card from the shop and then I  used Wings and Flowers CD for the leaves and flowers.

I stuck a piece of 'cloud background' paper on the front of the card and cut out the balloon aperture.    Coloured peel- off pieces again for the two birds.

I bought a sheet of peel-off funky cats at Farnborough.  I  decided to play with my glitter and glaze pens  - then cut them out and fix to some pussycat backing paper.  All on A4 cream embossed card cut down to DL.
I coloured 4 so I  have one left for an ATC.
