The centres of the flowers are tiny wee gems in amber colour.

From JS Pamela West cd.  Image printed on to photo paper and mounted on to silver holographic.  Card is directly printed using an insert and positioning the topper over the white rectangle.  Ribbon saved from an Xmas present.

For these 3 cards I have used the base cards from a kit but my own embellishments etc.

This one uses another kit card.

This pink card is one of A & B's bargain A6 aperture cards.

This is what I did at my  Parchment Class tonight.  Although it isn't finished yet I am so pleased with how the lesson went I wanted to post it.  This is the first time I have tried colouring hair and colouring skin tone.   Also the veil is embossed straight from the tracing and no edge was embossed.  I will need to do some more to the veil when the parchment has rested and them mount it properly.  The blue is just temporary.

Here is the finished card.  I am not 100% happy with my choice of background oval but it had to be dark or the white work would be lost.  I tried so many different bits of background stuff you wouldn't believe.  Settled on this maroonish colour as a compromise.  It does look better in the flesh.  The scanner deadens it a bit.

I have used  free download pattern by Dorothy Holness.  In 'the flesh' the butterfly wings stand away from the card giving it a more delicate look.  The scanner squashes everything of course.

Parchment card made using a new frame purchased at the show and the image traced from a magazine.  Painted with felt tips on the back and some light embossing.

A Christine Coleman pattern to practise my mapping pen and ink work.  Pencils were used on the back to colour and some light embossing.  When I had perforated the grid I saw I had made a couple of mistakes but as I had done all the ink work I didn't feel inclined to start again.  I took a tip from Pauline Loweth who says just continue and repair later.  Now I have finished it I  can't find them so  - am I bovvered?

This is where I used A & B's gold pearly ink.   I used a new (to me) painting technique.  It got better on the pink flower which was the second one.  I did though have trouble glueing it to the background.  The pattern called for a fine grid and then a bold grid and I suspect that stretched the parchment and the left hand edged crinkled.  I enjoyed this one and would do it again  but only use one size grid.

Mother's Day card

Ooh La la Passion for Fashion CD - one of my favourites.  I have used an insert printed to card for the card itself. The image is printed to photo paper and matted to red holographic card from A & B.  I have added a red gem embellishment to the feathers in her hat and a red bow.

This is from Ooh La La Passion for Fashion CD.  Just a very simple little Mother's Day card . The image is so pretty on it's own.

A reasonably quick pattern from my parchment magazine.  I have done it as a topper and added the very tiny gems on the wings.  The scan isn't brilliant.  I might replace it with a photo taken in daylight.

Now replaced with a better photo.
