I enjoyed doing this one although I didn't really like the ink tracing at first but it looked better as I embossed.

I had a call from a friend who needed a quick card for 70th Birthday for a chap who was a pilot and is a keen golfer.  Difficult to combine the two with what I had available so I made it like an envelope (obviously the correct name and address is on the card under the sticker).  I have the golfer stamp and I got the aeroplane postage stamp from Robert Addams Vintage Transport CD.  I used a round Birthday peel off without the insides for the postmark and added the postage date (Birthday date) by hand and put 70 as the stamp cost.  I used a 'flying posters' sheet as the insert from the same CD.

January Birthday Card.  The stones are the nearest I could get to Garnets.  The Scan is a little pale.

This one done using a grid for the embossing and pricking.  Took a long time though.

Today's crafting session.

These two images are from the JS Pamela West CD.  The second card is an aperture card from A & B  and the Painty twin pen was used to give a fine silver edge to the aperture.  It just gives it that little 'Je ne sais quoi'.

This image is from Ooh La La  Passion for Fashion.
There is a story behind the little fishes.  A small blob of glue stuck on the edge of the photo and refused to budge so I  was sent in search of something to disguise it.  We felt that a butterfly wasn't appropriate on this occasion.  We will no doubt be told that you don't catch tropical fish fly fishing.  Poetic licence - will be the reply.

Parchment card - my adaptation of a free pattern.  I thought the flowers in the photo echoed  the shapes in the border.   This is a Get Well card.

The black dot is a dirty scanner not the card.  This pattern is in a book given to me by Miss Glitter.

4 very quick and inexpensive cards done for the shop using JS CD's - Pamela West Collection and Jayne Netley Mayhew.  All the images are printed on to inexpensive photo paper.

Three views of a trifold birthday card I have made for my Sister.  I printed the different backgrounds straight on to card and then scored and cut to a trifold.  I used another toning background paper for matting and then used some jewel pieces I have to decorate the headress and dress.  The lovely peel off on the middle panel was a gift from Dram.

Start of Valentine cards for the shop.  Will look even better when I find my peel off words or  perhaps buy some at the A & B shop tomorrow.

This is my own design using the mechanics of a Waterfall  card.  I stamped and watercoloured three different images of the hedgehog and 'heart' and mounted them over the pictures that were already there.  The background paper is from a JS CD.  I also used the background paper behind the images so that as they go up they  blend into the background and no white shows.

A Commission card

Champagne and glasses were requested but unfortunately I  couldn't get a bottle on the front as well.  I will try and use one on the insert.  The Iris Folding card came from A & B shop and I  have used it before - in fact Jess had one that I had done.

And here is the insert - using  peel offs.
