Waterbased Thickening Agent

I know it can be added to the waterbased paints to make an outliner

but

Is it ok to add it to outliner I have an outliner here which is slightly too thin I would prefer it to be a bit thicker

In answer to my own question    yes it can 

I ordered some and it arrived this morning  used a few drops in my ouliner and it thickened up nicely  I thought I can't use it as it was because it was far too thin  so had nothing to lose really  if it didnt work at least I'd know  it is  much better to use now 

Just having never used it before I was unsure if it could be use in it  so now I know
