I'm trying to think of something realy impressive to re use for card making, something as good as bottle tops are, I've tried ring pulls to use as buckles with strips of printed paper through with the message on, looked quite good.  Jam jar lids are too big and heavy.  Anyone any ideas, or am I just recycle crazy?

I've just made a card using the foil wrapper from butter!!
It's in the Gallery, last card, under 'Nuttycluster'

The free CDs you get in mags are great, I stamped on one with Stayzon then added jewels really effective. And sweet wrappers make lovely backings for flower etc appature cards. Quality street are best for wrappers, and a good exuse to treat your self to a box!!

I have embossed onto the margarine gold seals, and die cut them as flower vases, both ideas worked well.  I've also seen ideas for cutting cd;s into pieces and stamping them, then deep embossing but not tried that yet.  I have just cut a drinks can and embossed the side after removing top and bottom and opening it, works but it 'can' be sharp if you leave any jagged areas.
