BEAUTIFUL TOPPERS !!!
« on: February 08, 2007, 09:20:25 PM »
I have looked in the gallery and the cards are beautiful ---- I have a long way to go yet. I have Cd's for backing papers and have printed freebies off web sites but what I need to know is, where do you all get such gorgeous toppers from for your cards ?

All over the place.  Some are decoupage and others are pre made ones from craft emporiums.  I have a list of websites a mile long in my favourites.  It really depends on what look you are after.

Andrea bought some plastic door curtains last summer (NOT the strippy ones)

they come with plastic mouldings joined in like a chain.  she cuts a short lenght off and uses odd pieces.

There are loads of different colours and shapes.

At most good £ shops

I have bought a few from ebay, fairies, flowers, teddybears, but I just want a good all round selection to cover all occasions. Mostly for birthday cards

Most of my decoupage ones are off cd's or I have bought decoupage sheets from the shop on here.

I get some images from CD's but most of my decoupage is downloaded from various websites or e-mailed to me, although depending on what you're doing with them you will have to check regarding any copyright issue (Most are OK if you're using them for personal use but not commercial). I have a few favourites or a list that I can e-mail you, if you want. Another idea is recycle old pictures, books etc.

Good luck anyway.

Kind regards
