Making Window Clings with Glass paint

Hello

Please can anyone offer some advice, I want to make some Window clings using glass paint.  I am not sure what sort of acetate to use, A friend has told me that you can buy one that will stick to the window and peel on and off.  I notice that there is one for sale on this website suitable for Photocopiers, I want to actually draw and outline the image rather than photocopy it, is this still the correct product to use?

Hiya Judy

Firstly as a new member  - Welcome 

The copy film is suitable for Glass painting  I have used it myself you can either put it through a photocopier / printer  or you can just outline on it yourself  but it is not adhesive  if you wanted to use this for window clings  you would have to find some way of sticking it to the window

There is a clear self adhesive film which I have used in the past to do window clings  and it is very good  you outline and paint on one side  then peel off the backing to enable you to stick it on the window ( when dry of course  ) personal preference is to use solvent based paints  but you can use the water based ones with it too
Unfortunately  it is not in the shop at present, I'm not sure when it will be back in 

Hopefully someone from Admin will see this soon and may be able to advise a bit more as to when it will be back in the shop   or you could give customer services a ring to find out

The film that you are after is the Rainbow Glass Cling Film

It works on static rather than an adhesive so can be peeled off and replaced as many times as you like.
