Craft Robo

Does anyone else have a Craft Robo? I bought one at a show in January and have used it a few times, but do not think that it is value for money.

I work with computers all day so am familiar with various software, but the Craft Robo is not that user friendly. I thought I would be able to do lots more...........

If anyone has any comments/suggestions - they would be much appreciated. I am thinking of getting a "graphics tablet" which is like a mouse pad with a pen that you can use to draw and thought that it might help

I have a graphics tablet and never use it as I found it wasn't a lot better than a mouse.

I have a craft robo as it will work out cheaper than a lot of alphabet dies as I cant cut a straight line I'm not to good at the tracing bit as yet, but I haven't had mine for long so still learning.... only just found out how to do dashed lines. I think they could do with some better instructions I have had help with another site and someone very kindly sent me a home made dvd with some hints and tips which helped me

I was tempted to get one at the NEC last November.  OH was going to go halfers with me for my christmas, which I was over the moon about it.  When I phoned them to ask them more questions, I decided it wasnt really what I wanted and didnt get one in the end.

OH bought me an all in one printer instead for my christmas and I wasnt impressed.  Would have preferred the earrings I had been telling him about for weeks. lol.

Was lucky enough to get one for my birthday at the end of April from hubby.  We are in the process of uprooting and moving out to Spain and he thought I could use it when I start crafting full time out there.  Have not used it much but it looks as if there is a lot of potential and not just for cutting but for writing too inside cards etc.  I think it is of more use if doing multiple cards for wedding stationery etc, which I hope to pursue in my new life.

Luv my craft robo. Alphabets are as easy as ABC, making apertures are a doddle, and chevron card s witha little foil behind look really posh.  Also any die cuts in full colour, decoupage,Pop -ups and the pen writes beautifully in any font, the list goes on.  Must go, just thought of something else to try out. Bye!!!
