Yes have had a go think its something that needs working on. One of Dawn Bibbys girls Leonie does them and has a club.

ATC..............Artist Trading Cards
They are approx 2.5x3.5 in size about the size of a playing card.
You can decorate them with anything just like you would if you were making cards then you can send them to people there are some swap clubs, in which you would then put your name&address tel no or email on the back, for if someone wants to get in touch and ask how you did it or what you used anything like that.

Thanks Lyn, The twins card was for my other son Shaun, he decided that the aliens looked like his brothers, so he gave me the pic and asked if i could do something along that line.
The good thing about ATCs is it gives you a chance to use up all of your scraps, that are too small for cardmaking.
I did a World cup set of 3 last night and 20 Christmas ones for another forum i am a member of, i have another 17 to make, send 37 out get 37 in return, god help the poor postal service in December.

:) You will love making these little cards as you can use all your small pieces for them.
Unless you have a central person passing on the swaps you will have to give out all your details and this does put some people off.
Birthday and christmas swaps are fantastic
Basically they are just like card toppers but the reverse has your details on instead of being stuck on a greeting card !!!

My local craft shop gave me some blanks a while back and asked me to make some ATC's but have been looking at them blankly for weeks.
With your help Lub and Maggie I feel inspired to bite the bullet and have a go too.

Go for it, you'll love it once you start, word of warning though, ATCs are very addictive.

I create ATC cards but mine are mostly mini paintings or art...but anything goes with ATC's which is why i love them you can make them in a crafty way an altered way a collaged way whatever insires you to create
and yes they are very addicitve

I have just had a look at your newest additions to your site and just had to take the oppotunity the congratulate you again, your work is really great. I particulary liked the chinese ones, your Christmas collection are really great too.

How about we all make 2 ATCs, anything goes, but must have a rubber stamped image of some kind. Pm me if you want to join in this swap, and i will pm my address to you.
The only rule is a stamped self addressed envelope for the return of your swaps, you send 2 and get 2 in return from different artists. if this one takes off i will do regular trades.
