can any one out there help me i got a bookatrix board as a present but am not sure what to do. what thickness off paper is the best for this , how hard do you score the bookatrix thank you

You can use card i've used fairly thick card so experiment with different thicknesses. The trick is to grease the card using candle or a tumble dryer sheet(my favourite) You should not rub too hard in case you tear the card. Better 2 or 3 strokes lightly than 1 hard stroke. Have fun and enjoy using the board I have several and think they are great. Mary

I tried the dryer sheet, but my embossing tool was still rough when going thru the board tracks. I used a used dryer sheet - should it have been a new one?

i always use new dryer sheets, and this seems to work well,
