My mum knits dolls, really enjoys it and she is now 95 years old, her best are a reversable doll.  Sad and happy.  You turn it upside down and its another dolls face.

Hi Dylan, glad to hear that your mum still enjoys herself, even at that age. I have done a few toys but have never tried the topsy turvy doll yet, I think I need some more experience first.

Hi Andrea

Try the Jean Greenhowe books and leaflets.  There are about 20 different ones with all sorts of large and small dolls and toys in them.

I too have knitted many toys as well as junpers, cardigans etc over the years and somewhere hidden in my house  is the collection of all Jean Greehowe books. And have spent many an hour stuck in hospital either with the kids or on my own knitting these lovely toys
