This the first RAK card I made. I was thrilled to receive Maggie Bee's name.
I put a lot of care and attention into making it. Did you feel the love spilling out as you opened the envelope Maggie?

The second photo is the card opened out.

This card was made for a friend in work who has just taken 'Voluntary' redundancy. He had no option other than to take it as there wasn't a job in the restructuring for him. Very Sad.
-
A gatefold card - opening down the middle with the watering can half on the left side.
It made me very sad making this card. A good friend of mine who I've worked with for 6 years was another 'victim' of the restructuring. After working for local authorities for 30 years she's now out of work.
I shall miss her greatly - she's been a shoulder for me to cry on during a very trying 18 months.
-
Not sure I like this one. The motifs are foiled but look strange.
-
Flower fairy Mamelock relief, parchment paper over the top. Border punch used down right hand edge of parchment. Pink ribbon to finish off.

When my sister nearly died 2 years age he was taken into Foster care and she hasn't been allowed to have him back. In 2014 Michael's uncle was 80 years old. He used to love gardening so I made him a garden shed!
-
On the same day as Uncle's 80th birthday it was their 60th wedding anniversary. We had a huge celebration with us all staying in a large rented property for a few days. I made decorations for the dining room - bunting and paper roses for the tables. I didn't get a photo of the bunting hanging up but the first photo is of the pieces laid down ready for the string to be attached.

In 2018 I 'discovered' bow cards and this is the first one I made.
It was for a very special lady's 75th birthday. The last photo is the box I decorated to post it in.
-
For Michael's 59th birthday I decided to make a 3d item rather than a card. He loved feeding the garden birds so this was really appropriate for him.
It was the last birthday card I made for him as he passed away 2 months before his 60th.
The last photo was some funny captioned cards I made for him. They were made after we'd been told he was terminally ill. I knew there'd be tough days ahead and wanted something to give them to him to make him smile on bad days. Sadly I never got to give him any as his health rapidly worsened.

Almost up to date! These are 2020 makes.
First cards made for a swap on another forum.
-
The first card is one made a friend on another forum. Her cardmaking style is very different to mine - think mixed media and inky backgrounds. I had a go at mixed media for her card.
The other 4 cards are for a monthly swap - the last photo is an MDF tag.
-
2020 ATCs made for another swap. I only started back with this swap in August 2020.
-
2020 Halloween ATCs. They open like a book so all 3 sides were decorated. First and third photo is the outside. second and fourth photos are the inside.

A couple of pop up box cards.

A wedding card for a friend of my niece. They'd had to delay the wedding because of the pandemic so it was rearranged for August but they were only allowed a limited number of guests. I wanted to design a card in a similar style to their original wedding invites which had a rainbow on. Apparently a rainbow has a biblical connection of hope and promise and the bride and groom are both Christians. I designed the card in Serif Craft Artist, printed it out and then mat and layered the seven colours of the rainbow.
I found some rainbow coloured bunting online and made two long strands of bunting to hang between the church pillars.

2020 cards.
-
A Golden Wedding anniversary card for one of my brother's and his wife. It's a Bookatrix style card with hand made flowers.
-
Some cards for men.
-
A few special cards.
The first is an anniversary card for my lovely next door neighbours.
Then a 70th birthday card for a friends mum.
And the last one is a birthday card for my next door neighbour's daughter. She's into punk/goth. She liked the card so much she framed it and has it up in her bedroom. It's going to be hard to beat this card in 2021!
The last card is another bow card for a 66th wedding anniversary.
